The legs were cut into its shape before finally being carved and sanded into its final form.
The holes were drilled into the top. The legs were inserted for fitting before cutting a line into it for wedges.
The wedges are cut from walnut to match the color of the top. They were glued and hammered into the legs. The legs were glued into the top as well.
As you can see, the top of the legs and wedges were cut and sanded down to match the entire surface of the top. Everything was sanded down and cleaned before being coated in Danish oil.
